The Eye on Community series is one of our tools to spread the word and promote community activity. Volunteer programs are very valuable to a community and are a part of what we might see in the future. Countless earnest community members approach us daily to offer their help with forum moderation, game moderation, and other things. We realize how immensely helpful that could be, and while we have not formulated a volunteer program right now that we can point you to, we encourage you to find other ways to help the community grow and improve in the meantime. Plant a seed, and see it grow. In keeping an Eye on Community, we come across many amazing things. Some make us smile at their quirkiness, while others are spectacular accomplishments worth sharing with our desk neighbors. Eye on Community is intended to be your twenty minutes in the spotlight. If you look past the shameless pun we used in the name, you will find this to be a great venue for showing off, as well as a great venue for reading up on what is happening in the community. This week I’ll start out by linking you to a couple of useful guides. With this post, I am, in the best of Olympic spirits, passing on the torch of interacting with the North American communities out to Andrew. Martin "Amboss" Rabl will continue to head up our German communities, and my own work will from now on be much more focused on our European communities. We have been experiencing technical difficulties with North American server [East]Lumiel since 00.15 a.m. PDT 10/19. We have in our investigations managed to pinpoint the problem to server hardware that needs to be replaced. Unfortunately replacing the affected parts will result in a short rollback on the server, causing activity during the final 30 minutes to one hour before the server’s downtime to be lost. General Hath straightened. “Not our concern, your Majesty?” he asked, his breath setting his thick graying mustache aflutter. “But we are part of the Alliance, and aion power levelinghave pledged ourselves to battling the Horde together.” “The situation has changed,” Perenolde informed him, aware that he was sweating heavily—and that his officers aion power levelinghad noticed. “I have reconsidered our options, and have decided to realign ourselves in the conflict. With Aion, we had this in mind from the beginning. The best example is probably the Abyss. Fortress sieges in the Abyss promote bonding around a common cause and promote the forming of social brefinkye groups, such as Legions. The Legions in turn provide customization, as displayed by the wide variety of crests used by Legions to identify themselves. Our community work until now has focused on preparation for launch. In the future, we want to expand on the activities we arrange in the game.

Amboss: Did you do any instances, raids, or similar quests, and were you able to follow the campaign’s storyline? Drno: We did take our time to play through the campaign since there were always very good rewards from brefinkye campaign quests. We were able to follow the story pretty well. The same is true for the instances. Raids were really not possible. The level difference between our Legion members and us was just too big.Almisaela: We visited the instance Firetemple with our group of four very often and managed to get a unique weapon. We also went on a raid in Sulfur Fortress and tried out a couple outdoor raid bosses and won. About the Aion lore—I have to admit, I read every single quest, You must take the time to read it, and the campaign history is very exciting and much more interesting than most other MMORPG’s.
